Slipped up!

Hello there,

I was walking out of Barbican station and slipped up on the paper stewn across the floor outside the station. It's quite dangerous, especially for people like me. I'm 73 years old now and sometimes find it hard to see things up close.

I think these free papers should be stopped once and for all. If I want a paper, I can go buy one. There's never any peace and quite any more and the trains are getting messier and dirtier.
If the cleaners are left with just cleaning papers, they're obviously not doing a thorough enough cleaning job.

Infringement or 'freedom of expression'?

Infringement? Legal Team?

To whom it may concern,

Your website and newsletter have been brought to our attention as they are
both using a version of the London Lite logo.

We don't want to involve our legal team at the moment so we are just
requesting you change your logo. The current logo is an infringement of the
registered trade mark for London Lite.

If the logo is not amended by the 31st October 2008 we will pass this to
our legal department to progress further.

Hi Guys,

Love what you're doing with the London Shite,

Let me know if i can help in anyway. I work in marketing in the music industry and also do some desgn work. Based in Shoreditch/ Bethnal Green.

I could see the paper working pretty well in Shoreditch with all the 'I wanna be trendy' types. You could probably use it as a bit of an underground promotion tool, letting the kids pay to advertise there warehouse parties and promotional nights etc.

Newspapers in Newham...

At the close of 2006 the Stratford Guardian ceased publication leaving only two newspapers in Newham, the Newham Recorder and Stratford & Newham Express (a free sheet) - both papers owned by the Archant Group.

Newham needs more scrutiny

Well done on your newspaper. The Gun Crime game is very current and clever.
I worked in Newham for 5 years and the main local paper, Newham Recorder was full on nonsense, mainly of local Councillors shaking oldies hands, hardly any scrutiny of the Council (who are one of the worst in the country). Journalism at its worst.
Did you know the Editor of Newham Recorder is the same as Newhams only other paper Stratford & Newham Express? It stinks.

It's little wonder Newham is such a dull place to live.

Keep up the good work, humour is powerful tool.
